    Onno Boots joined GEODIS in October 2016 as Asia-Pacific Area Director for Freight Forwarding. Prior to this, he was CEO of Celebi Aviation Holding. He began his career in Freight Forwarding at Air Express International and Cargolux Airlines International before joining the TNT Group where he held various positions for more than 20 years, most notably as Director of Asia. He took over his current position at GEODIS in May 2018.

    Koh Jin Kiat is currently the Director of Business Growth at Bombardier Recreational Products (BRP). BRP Inc is a Canadian company making various vehicles. Once part of Bombardier Inc., it was founded in 1942 as L'Auto-Neige Bombardier Limitée (Bombardier Snowmobile Limited) by Joseph-Armand Bombardier at Valcourt in the Eastern Townships, Quebec. BRP has a long legacy of innovation and has multiple brands: Ski-Doo (snowmobiles), Can-Am motorcycles (ATVs and Can-Am Spyder and Ryker three-wheeled vehicles), Sea-Doo (personal watercraft), Lynx (snowmobile), Evinrude Outboard Motors, and Rotax. 

    Prior to his, he was the Director, Regional Sales Operations at Harley-Davidson. He was responsible for demand and supply planning; as well fulfillment for Harley-Davidson’s sales and distribution channels in the region. Before joining Harley-Davidson, Jin Kiat was the Operations Director at Reader’s Digest Asia, where he was responsible for Reader’s Digest B2B and B2C operations. Prior to that, he was Asia Pacific Director, Global Automotive Solutions at Menlo Worldwide, a global supply chain management company.

    During his tenure at Menlo Worldwide, Jin Kiat was also a pioneer of Vector SCM, a global supply chain 4PL joint-venture between General Motors and CNF, Inc., Menlo Worldwide’s parent company. Jin Kiat’s supply chain and operations experience spans both B2B and B2C sectors in industrial and commercial environments, and has successfully developed customer-centric supply chain solutions for large multi-national corporations. Jin Kiat graduated from Nanyang Business School in Singapore with a Bachelor of Business (Marketing); and has an MBA from Manchester Business School in the UK. He is also a certified trainer with the Advanced Certificate in Training and Assessment (ACTA) qualifications awarded by the Workforce Development Agency (WDA) of Singapore.

    Jorge is originally from Spain where he graduated as an engineer in the fields of Telecommunications and also in Computer Science and Information Technology Management with the University of Catalunya. 

    Jorge has a wide international experience of more than 20 years in scope of Procurement and Supply Chain Management. He initiated his career in Spain and evolved towards leadership roles in the field of strategy, business  transformation and performance management in the Center of Excellence of Vodafone Group in Germany and UK.

    Jorge is passionate about Procurement, Supply Chain Management and Business Transformation. Over the last years Jorge has been leading and developing international and multicultural teams in the field of Strategic Procurement and Supply Chain Management He was instrumental steering the centralization of procurement operations of a major Telecommunications Group as Vodafone across Europe and AMAP.

    Jorge also led the transformation of procurement of Maxis Broadband in Malaysia developing team capabilities for strategic procurement while enhancing the strategic impact and added value of procurement. Since May 2019 Jorge is leading SCM and Procurement operations for devices and IoT as Vice President of Group Procurement at Telenor Group.

    Nowadays Jorge is s a well-known procurement leader in Europe and in Asia Pacific. He was recently awarded by CIPS as “Procurement and Supply Chain Management Professional of the year 2019 in Asia as well as shortlisted to the categories of Procurement Leader, Transformation and Excellence by Procurement Leaders in 2018.

    Mr Vijay Anand is part of the Worldwide Sales & Distribution Industries team at IBM, responsible for managing Travel, Transportation & Logistics Industries across Asia Pacific, Greater China and Japan.

    Prior to joining IBM, Vijay was the Global Head of Travel, Transportation & Logistics Industries and the Senior Director in the Industries Business Unit at Oracle Corporation from 2004, for 12 years. During this period Vijay was directly involved in developing Asia Pacific, Greater China, Japan, North America, Latin America, Europe and Middle East markets and in the launch of several Industry specifc solutions including Airline Loyalty, Aircraft Maintenance, Fuel Management, Ports Terminal Management, Sales Rating & Operations, Airline Data Model, Passenger & Asset Data Management and Customer Experience Solutions.

    Vijay brings over 25 years of hands on experience in the areas of Technology and Applications Solutions, Sales, Business Development, Alliances & Partner Management, Strategic Planning, Product Management, Outsourcing and Major Account Management.

    Prior to Oracle Corporation, Vijay was part of SITA (Societe Internationale de Telecommunications Aeronautiques) for 8 years and has held several lead positions including Solutions Director for Asia Pacific and Airline Alliances, Major Account Director for leading Airlines, Airports, Aerospace Logistics & Government organisations.

    Vijay is a Project Management Professional (PMP) and holds a graduate degree in Science specialising in Physics (Applied Electronics) and an MBA from Canadian School of Management. He is based in Singapore and contributes actively in the Executive Committee and Board of Advisors at Supply Chain Asia.

     
     
     
     
     
  • NGIEN HOON PING

    Mr Ngien Hoon Ping was appointed the Chief Executive Officer, Supply Chain, Fairprice Group from September 2020.  The Supply Chain Business Unit was set up as a response to the need for enhanced Food Supply Chain resilience capability in the midst of COVID-19.  Mr Ngien serves on the Board of the Energy Market Authority since April 2021.  He also serves as a member of the National University of Singapore (NUS) Industrial System Engineering and Management Department (ISEM) Consultative Committee.

    Before joining Fairprice Group, Mr Ngien was the Chief Executive Officer of Singapore’s Land Transport Authority from November 2016 to August 2020 and oversaw all land transport policy and planning matters, including oversight over Rail and Bus operational effectiveness; and as Deputy Secretary (Performance) in the Ministry of Finance from July 2013 to October 2016 where he drove digital government initiatives as well as oversaw government procurement policies.  Prior to this, Mr Ngien served for more than 20 years in the fields of maintenance, engineering, logistics and operations.

    He served as a member of the Institute of Technical Education (ITE)’s Board of Governors (2009 to 2013), as a Board member of the Singapore Examinations and Assessment Board (SEAB) (2012 to 2016) as well as Board member of the Urban Redevelopment Board (2016 to 2021).  He also served as a member in the Boards of ST Logistics Pte Ltd, ST Electronics (Info-Software Systems) Pte Ltd and ST Aerospace Supplies Pte Ltd.

    Mr Ngien holds a Bachelor in Engineering in Electronics and Electrical Engineering from the Victoria University of Manchester, United Kingdom.  He also holds a Master of Science in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the National University of Singapore.  He attended executive Programmes at INSEAD and IMD.  He was awarded the NUS Distinguished Engineering Alumni Award in 2021. 

    Mr Ngien was conferred the Public Administration Medal (Silver) (Military) in 2007.  He was awarded the Public Administration Medal (Silver) in 2015.  He is married with 3 children.

    Lee Eng Keat is an Executive Director at Group Foreign Direct Investment Advisory, UOB. He is responsible for developing partnerships with government agencies, trade associations and professional service providers. These partnerships support the Bank’s efforts to help companies set up and to grow their operations as they tap opportunities across Asia.

    Eng Keat brings over two decades of experience with the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB) to UOB. During his time at EDB, he developed strategies to engage global logistics, utility and agrifood companies to drive their investments into Singapore.

    In his current portfolio, Chung Ming is responsible for facilitating companies in the Aviation, Maritime and Land Transport Sectors in Singapore and their ventures overseas. This encompasses co-ordination with ESG’s global centres to develop trade and investment linkages between Singapore and global markets, providing in-market facilitation, market insights, intelligence, business & government connections, and consultancy advice for market entry and expansion into various regions.

    Chung Ming has been the Group Director for the China Group between May 2011 and November 2015. As Group Director of China Group,Chung Ming oversees the agency’s operations in China where it has nine overseas centres. Chung Ming is also responsible for developing and implementing strategies and policies to assist the expansion of Singapore-based companies into China.
