Due to overwhelming response, all 2 intakes for 16-18 Feb and 2-4 Mar have been oversubscribed. We opened up 4-6 Apr and it was also oversubscribed. Currently, we have opened up another 2 intakes in May 2022. As class size is capped and we have a limited number of runs, we encouraged those who have signed up and, for various reasons may not be able to make it, to keep us informed so that we can re-allocate these seats to other participants. We want to extend our appreciation to NTUC for the promotion as well as to those who have signed up for the workshop.

As part of our partnership with NTUC under the U-Associates and U-PME programs, Supply Chain Asia is extending special training support and privileges to NTUC and U-Associate members. Non-NTUC members can also benefit by taking on the 6-month complimentary NTUC membership provided once they sign up for one of the training programs below.

All the training programs are jointly designed and developed with Singapore Management University (SMU). The certificates are also awarded by SMU Academy.

Industry 4.0 & Supply Chain Transformation Workshop (3-day)

The vision of Industry 4.0 emphasises the global networks of machines in a smart factory setting capable of autonomously exchanging information and controlling each other. Supply chains are traditionally linear in nature, with a discrete progression of design, plan, source, make, and deliver. Today, however, many supply chains are transforming from a staid sequence to a dynamic, interconnected system that can more readily incorporate ecosystem partners and evolve to a more optimal state over time. This shift from linear, sequential supply chain operations to an interconnected, open system of supply operations could lay the foundation for how companies compete in the future.

The Industry 4.0 & Supply Chain Transformation Workshop is a hands-on training to provide basic knowledge and foundation on new emerging technologies and their impact on logistics and supply chain management. These include the applications of smart robotics, the Internet of Things, Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Machine Learning and Deep Learning.

Professional Certificate in Supply Chain Innovation (5-day)

(To be launched soon)

Every physical product that we have today results from a supply chain execution – a complex series of steps that turn raw materials into the final products we use and everything related to this.

Managing these supply chains has become more challenging, especially with all modern technologies and today’s trends. The 24-hour economy, fast delivery of goods to your home, wanting to have customised products, and of course, the focus on sustainability are a few of these trends.

In this program, you will learn why managing supply chains are essential and challenging. It is a critical activity in both large multi-national companies as well as for small businesses. We’ll find out how to incorporate technologies into logistics and supply chain operations that are not only effective – but efficient.

To add practical benefits, all trainees participating in this course will need to complete TWO project work relating to Machine Learning and Robotic Process Automation. These two projects must be submitted on Day 5 as the final requirement for completing the course and awarding the Specialist Certificate in Supply Chain Innovation.

Eligible participants who signed up for this program can sign up for Supply Chain Asia Training Grant worth up to $500 per trainee upon successful completion of the training. Please email us (admin@scasia.org) with your full details after you sign up for the course so that we can evaluate your eligibility for the training grant.
