Impact of the CFE Report & Budget 2017 on Logistics & Supply Chain in Singapore
Date: 28th February 2017
Time: 0900-1400hrs (followed by exclusive Shippers Dialogue – only for invited guests)
Venue: e2i (Hall 3)
Event Overview
The Committee on the Future Economy (CFE) has officially published their report after a one year deliberation and discussion with over 9,000 stakeholders from the various industries to discuss the impact of new technologies on economic development. There have been both positive comments as well as adverse remarks made on the report. The seven broad strategies recommended in the report have a major impact on the logistics and supply chain industry. Together with the Budget 2017 given by Finance Minister Heng Swee Kiat on 20th February 2017, we can expect major upheavals and rapid developments for the logistics and supply chain industry. How do companies become active participants of these plans, and how does a Supply Chain Professional ensure that he or she can continue to remain relevant in a changing supply chain world?
We have assembled together industry professionals to share their views and in our usual Supply Chain Asia no holds barred format, hope to facilitate a discussion that looks at the impact, implications, challenges, issues and opportunities arising from the CFE report and budget.
