Overseas Learning Journey Workshops
Supply Chain Asia (SCA) hosts a series of overseas learning journey workshops to give participants first-hand exposure to global supply chain operations. These programmes are fully self-funded, independently organised by SCA, and designed to combine professional insights with cultural experiences. Each journey runs for 4 days and 3 nights, blending site visits to leading companies with opportunities to network, learn, and explore the host city.

Workshop Line-up (2026):
Bangkok, Thailand – 13–16 May (Confirmed)
Our first confirmed trip will focus on the food supply chain and manufacturing sector, with site visits to leading facilities that demonstrate resilience and innovation in a competitive market. The programme also includes a welcome dinner, networking sessions, and curated sightseeing tours around Bangkok.
Fee: S$600 per person, inclusive of 3 nights’ accommodation at Pullman King Power Hotel, a welcome dinner, 1 day of site visits, participation at Supply Chain Asia forum 2026.
Bangkok, Thailand – 28-31 Oct (Confirmed)
This trip will focus on Thailand’s manufacturing sectors, with site visits to various plants and industrial estates. The programme also includes a welcome dinner, networking sessions, and curated sightseeing tours around Bangkok.
Fee: S$750 per person, inclusive of 3 nights’ accommodation at Conrad Hotel, a welcome dinner, 1 day of site visits, and participation in Supply Chain Asia Awards 2026.
Cikarang, Jakarta (To be confirmed)
Often called Indonesia’s manufacturing hub, Cikarang is home to one of the region’s most significant inland dry ports and industrial clusters. Participants will gain insights into cross-border trade flows, logistics infrastructure, and large-scale manufacturing ecosystems, alongside time to explore Jakarta’s vibrant culture. (Proposed fee – $750/person)
Guangzhou, China (TBC)
This trip will highlight high-tech robotics and electronics manufacturing, showcasing how advanced automation and digitalisation are reshaping the supply chain in one of China’s fastest-growing industrial centres. The learning programme will be complemented by cultural immersion and sightseeing activities in Guangzhou. (Proposed fee – $750/person)
