This is a 3-day joint SCA-SMU program with hands-on technology interaction at the Supply Chain Asia’s Smart Technologies Lab
The Industry 4.0 & Supply Chain Transformation Workshop is a hands-on training to provide basic knowledge and foundation on new emerging technologies and their impact on logistics and supply chain management. These include the applications of smart robotics, the Internet of Things, Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Machine Learning and Deep Learning.
The Supply Chain Transformation workshop is conducted in partnership with the Singapore Management University (SMU) Academy and conducted by Supply Chain Asia’s facilitators. The facilitation of the entire program is supported by SCA’s network of industry professionals and veterans and will include practical hands-on application, site visits, development of your own company case study, formation of proposals to justify ROI as well as submission for application of grants from relevant local agencies (may not be applicable to every company and support will be given on a case-by-case basis).
Participants have the options of attending face-to-face training at the Smart Technologies Lab (located in Singapore Polytechnic) or via Zoom. More details will be provided upon successful enrolment.
- Day 1 – Overview of Industry 4.0/Advanced Analytics
- Day 2 – Robotic Process Automation & Internet of Things
- Day 3 – Autonomous Technologies & Robotics
Day 1 – Introduction to the Digitalisation of Supply Chain
Participants will get a hands-on practical overview of the applications and use cases of various smart technologies, including Immersive Technologies such as AR and VR. The Internet of Things (IoT) will also be covered on Day 1.
Trainees will also participate in a one-on-one discussion with SCA’s facilitator to determine their state of tech adoption and readiness for innovation and transformation challenge.
Day 2 – Demystifying Smart Technologies
Practical overviews of 2 key technologies will be covered in this section:
- Robotic Process Automation (RPA)
- AI-enabled applications and Machine Learning/Deep Learning technologies
Day 3 – Demystifying Smart Technologies
Practical overviews on automation and autonomous technologies. The final day will review the application and adoption challenges relating to Smart Technologies.
Training dates & Enrolment Process
