Entrepreneurs are more passionate than consumers about global economic and policy issues according to The Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU). Social causes, global expansion, social media connectivity are factors that greatly influence their businesses and growth.

There is an increasing number of entrepreneurs in the Asia Pacific that plan to take their business international in the near future. President of FedEx Express Asia Pacific, Karen Reddington, stated that FedEx is continuously innovating to provide entrepreneurs and SMEs the right tools to obtain that competitive edge they need in doing international business. FedEx will also offer logistics infrastructure required to get access to new markets.

Social media has been deemed the key for businesses in the next five years by entrepreneurs. However, this was disagreed by their consumers who think the technology will not remain relevant as years goes by. Both entrepreneur and consumer share the same sentiment that social responsibility is important today.
