In his new role, Frank-Uwe Ungerer will be based in Singapore, and reports directly to Ken Lee, CEO, DHL Express Asia Pacific. He succeeds Herbert Vongpusanachai, who has assumed the position of Senior Vice President of DHL Express Hong Kong & Macau.
Having joined DHL in 2003 as Country Manager of DHL Express Russia, Frank-Uwe Ungerer has since held various positions, most recently as Country Manager of DHL Express in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) where he was in charge of day-to-day regional operations for close to six years. During this time, he has led the business to exceptional performance and significantly strengthened its market leadership.
