A Skills & Career Transition Programme (SCTP)
From Tool Awareness to Practical Digital Execution
The SCTP is a structured, hands-on programme designed to help professionals design, build and deploy real automation, workflow and business intelligence solutions.
Participants do not just learn tools. They build working systems across automation, applications, RPA, BI and GenAI.
Duration: 3 Months (Part-Time)
Format: Online (Zoom)
Commitment: Structured monthly sessions (two modules per week) with guided build assignments
What You Will Build
Across the 6 modules, participants will:
- Design structured workflows and automation logic
- Build low-code applications for operational use
- Develop RPA bots to automate rule-based processes
- Create dashboards and data models for reporting
- Integrate GenAI into controlled workflow environments
- Deliver end-to-end working prototypes
By completion, participants will have developed multiple deployable solutions.

Course Overview
This course equips professionals with practical digital business skills to improve productivity by digitising everyday work processes using low-code and no-code tools. Participants learn how to replace manual and fragmented workflows with structured, sustainable digital solutions—without requiring technical or programming knowledge.
The course is offered as a standalone programme administered by SUTD Academy, with funding support from SkillsFuture Singapore, or as part of the full Skills Career Transition Programme (SCTP).
What Participants Will Learn
- Understand how digital business skills support individual and team productivity
- Identify manual or inefficient processes suitable for digitalisation
- Design simple data structures to support digital workflows
- Build basic business applications using low-code tools
- Apply simple automation logic to reduce repetitive tasks
- Develop a personal digital transformation plan aligned with their job role
Practical Learning Approach
Participants will complete a guided hands-on exercise to design and build a simple digital solution based on a realistic workplace scenario, such as:
- Attendance or event tracking
- Request and approval workflows
- Operational or administrative tracking
The exercise reinforces structured thinking, clarity of design, and practical usability.
Key Digital Skills and Applications
Making Digital Transformation Practical (Not Technical)
Understand digital transformation at the individual level by learning how small, practical changes—such as replacing emails and spreadsheets with simple digital workflows—can make daily work faster, clearer, and more organised.
