CCP Conditions and Criteria
To qualify for CCP funding, employers and participants must meet the following conditions:
Participants must be formally employed on at least a one-year employment contract, with standard terms and conditions for resignation and termination.
The training period under CCP typically spans three months, during which the participant must complete the full SCA/SUTD digital skills curriculum.
Upon successful completion of the three-month training, employers are encouraged to provide a salary increment to recognise the enhanced skills and contributions of the employee.
Employees cannot be terminated immediately upon completion of CCP training. Standard resignations or terminations under usual HR policies remain acceptable.
Example Scenario
A logistics company hires a mid-career Singaporean aged 45 under CCP:
Monthly salary: $4,000
Salary support: 90% × 3 months = $10,800 salary subsidy
Training fees: 90% funded under SME rate
Result: The company benefits from a fully trained employee at minimal cost, supported by both course fee and salary subsidies.
Key Takeaway
Train existing employees or hire new mid-career talent — and receive up to 90% funding support for both course fees and salaries.
Supply Chain Asia and SUTD Academy will guide your company through every step of the process, from funding application to training delivery.
