What are the Supply Chain Asia Awards?
The Supply Chain Asia Awards recognise individuals and organisations that have made meaningful contributions and demonstrated impact within the supply chain, logistics, procurement, and related professional communities. The Awards are a form of professional recognition, not a commercial endorsement or certification.
Are the Awards held every year?
Yes. The Supply Chain Asia Awards are held annually. However, not all categories are guaranteed to be awarded every year.
Are the Awards a popularity contest?
No. The Awards are not based on popularity, marketing reach, or vote solicitation. Evaluation is based on defined criteria, professional judgment, and structured processes.
Are the Awards linked to employment or recruitment?
No. The Awards are not a recruitment, job placement, or employment programme.
Nomination Questions
Who can submit a nomination?
Organisations may nominate themselves or others. Individuals may be nominated by peers, organisations, or partners. There is no restriction on who may submit a nomination, provided the submission meets the stated requirements.
Is there a nomination fee?
No. There is no nomination fee for any category.
Can I nominate myself or my company?
Yes. Self-nominations are allowed and are evaluated using the same criteria as all other nominations.
Does submitting a nomination guarantee an award?
No. Submission of a nomination does not guarantee shortlisting or award conferral.
What happens if my nomination is incomplete or late?
Incomplete or late nominations may not be considered.
Award Categories & Evaluation
What is the difference between conferred and competing awards?
Conferred Awards are decided by the Awards Committee based on professional judgment. They are not competitive and not subject to voting. Competing Awards are evaluated through structured criteria and, where applicable, voting.
Are all categories awarded every year?
No. The Awards Committee may withhold awards in any category if standards are not met.
Can past winners win again?
Yes, but past recognition does not guarantee future awards. Each year is evaluated independently.
Can categories be merged or changed?
Yes. The Awards Committee reserves the right to adjust, merge, or withhold categories.
Voting Questions
Which awards involve voting?
Only selected competing categories involve voting. Conferred awards do not involve voting.
Is voting public?
No. Voting is structured and controlled, and is not a public popularity poll.
Can companies campaign or solicit votes?
No. Vote solicitation, campaigning, or inducement is not permitted.
Awards Ceremony & Attendance
Must I attend the Awards Ceremony to win?
No. Attendance at the ceremony is not a prerequisite for nomination or award conferral.
Can someone else attend on behalf of the winner?
Yes. Award recipients may nominate representatives to attend the ceremony, although Award winners and recipients are encouraged to be present.
What is the dress code for the Awards Ceremony?
The Supply Chain Asia Awards is a Black-Tie event.
Use of Awards Recognition
Can winners use the Awards logo?
Yes, for the specific year and category awarded, subject to usage guidelines.
Can nominees claim they are award winners?

Are the Awards linked to SCTP, DSS, PAP, or other SCA programmes?

No. Participation in SCA activities does not influence Awards outcomes.

No. All decisions by the Awards Committee are final.
