    Benedict Kothe is the Managing Director of Jungheinrich Malaysia and Singapore – sales and service offices of Jungheinrich AG, one of world’s leading intralogistics solution providers with an extensive portfolio of forklift trucks, logistics systems and services. Benedict began his career as a trainee at Jungheinrich corporate headquarters in Hamburg, Germany in 2001. Since then, he has contributed significantly to the business via a number of roles in Europe, China and Singapore.

    He was part of the SAP implementation team that introduced SAP to eight Jungheinrich sales units in China, USA and other European countries. From 2007 to 2010, he worked at Jungheinrich China, where he acquired valuable experience into various business areas such as IT, processes, logistics, supply chain and sales. From 2010 to 2013, he took up a new challenge as the After Sales Director at Jungheinrich Singapore before becoming the Director for Logistics Systems After Sales at the Jungheinrich corporate headquarters in Hamburg, Germany in 2013.

    Currently based in Singapore, Benedict began his new role as the Managing Director for Jungheinrich Malaysia and Singapore in August 2019.

    Alvin is Co-Founder & CEO of Haulio - Singapore’s fastest growing Container Haulage platform, leading the revolution of the industry to become the Global Operating System of Container Haulage 4.0.

     

    Alvin started his Logistics profession through his family business HUB Distributors Services, a local traditional SME 3PL firm in Singapore which begun operations since 1989.

    As a forward-looking 2nd generation business leader, Alvin has more than 7 years of experience in business development to grow & corporatize the company through innovative technologies, increasing the Group's revenue by 20% YOY.

    Alvin founded a new business unit for Container Trucking at the age of 25 and as CEO for HUB Logistics, he'd successfully built up from scratch to a sizable fleet consisting of 15 Prime Movers & over 100 trailers within its first 3 years; moving 1,000 TEUs on average per month and doubling its revenue annually.

    With a keen interest in making a difference, Alvin is always taking on an active role in the industry's transformation road map and is now the Co-Founder & CEO of Haulio - Singapore’s fastest growing container haulage platform that aims to maximize haulage resources through industry level sharing to improve job productivity through our core technology. To date, with over 80% of Singapore’s hauliers comprising over 2,000 trucks and 20,000 trailers, Haulio has helped to digitalise the movements of over 150,000 TEUs containing 2.5 million tonnes of cargo. Alvin is leading the revolution of the trucking industry focusing on SEA with his team and aims to become the operating system of container trucking 4.0, driving the future of haulage.

    Chief Operating Officer, Ninja Van Singapore

    Ghim Hock Lee is the Chief Operations Officer for Ninja Van Singapore and responsible for the strategic planning and development of Ninja Van’s Singapore operations. Prior to his current role, Ghim Hock has been involved in various aspects of Ninja Van’s business, playing pivotal roles in key regional IT projects, including the implementation of software as a service and operational transformation initiatives.

    Throughout his career, he has earned experience in operations management, and previously held various roles in IT project management within Singapore’s public healthcare sector.

    Ghim Hock holds a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Cambridge, and a Bachelors of Information Technology (Honours) from the Victoria University of Wellington.

    Mark Parlane
    Senior Vice President Contract Logistics, Asia Pacific, Kuehne + Nagel

    Mark Parlane is responsible for Contract Logistics across Asia Pacific. Mark is based in Singapore.

    Kuehne + Nagel is a global transport and logistics company based in Schindellegi, Switzerland. It was founded in 1890, in Bremen, Germany, by August Kühne and Friedrich Nagel. It provides sea freight and airfreight forwarding, contract logistics, and overland businesses.

    Prior to joining Kuehne + Nagel Mark was with regional supply chain solutions providers Linfox, and before then with Exel and Tibbett & Britten (now taken over by DHL) in a career that has seen him based in the UK, Hong Kong, Shanghai, New York, and now Singapore.

    Mark has spent over 25 years in the logistics industry and holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Administration degree from Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand.

    Mark is married with 1 child.

    Xavier Perello Pairada
    Managing Director, South and South East Asia, SSI Schaefer

    With over 20 years of experience in the industry, Xavier started his career with a major Material Handling Company in Spain in 1994 and later moved to Singapore in 1997; he joined SSI Schaefer by 2000 to run the South East Asia operations and to later become the Managing Director for SSI Schaefer Hub Asia. He has built up his career and helped SSI Schaefer to be the market leader in the region.
