    President & CEO, Asia Pacific, Geodis

    Onno Boots joined GEODIS in October 2016 as Asia-Pacific Area Director for Freight Forwarding. Prior to this, he was CEO of Celebi Aviation Holding. He began his career in Freight Forwarding at Air Express International and Cargolux Airlines International before joining the TNT Group where he held various positions for more than 20 years, most notably as Director of Asia. He took over his current position at GEODIS in May 2018.

    Vice President, Travel, Transportation & Logistics Industries, IBM

    Mr Vijay Anand is part of the Worldwide Sales & Distribution Industries team at IBM, responsible for managing Travel, Transportation & Logistics Industries across Asia Pacific, Greater China and Japan.

    Prior to joining IBM, Vijay was the Global Head of Travel, Transportation & Logistics Industries and the Senior Director in the Industries Business Unit at Oracle Corporation from 2004, for 12 years. During this period Vijay was directly involved in developing Asia Pacific, Greater China, Japan, North America, Latin America, Europe and Middle East markets and in the launch of several Industry specifc solutions including Airline Loyalty, Aircraft Maintenance, Fuel Management, Ports Terminal Management, Sales Rating & Operations, Airline Data Model, Passenger & Asset Data Management and Customer Experience Solutions.

    Vijay brings over 25 years of hands on experience in the areas of Technology and Applications Solutions, Sales, Business Development, Alliances & Partner Management, Strategic Planning, Product Management, Outsourcing and Major Account Management.

    Prior to Oracle Corporation, Vijay was part of SITA (Societe Internationale de Telecommunications Aeronautiques) for 8 years and has held several lead positions including Solutions Director for Asia Pacific and Airline Alliances, Major Account Director for leading Airlines, Airports, Aerospace Logistics & Government organisations.

    Vijay is a Project Management Professional (PMP) and holds a graduate degree in Science specialising in Physics (Applied Electronics) and an MBA from Canadian School of Management. He is based in Singapore and contributes actively in the Executive Committee and Board of Advisors at Supply Chain Asia.

    Koh Jin Kiat
    Director, Business Growth, Bombardier Recreational Products (BRP)

    Koh Jin Kiat is currently the Director of Business Growth at Bombardier Recreational Products (BRP). BRP Inc is a Canadian company making various vehicles. Once part of Bombardier Inc., it was founded in 1942 as L'Auto-Neige Bombardier Limitée (Bombardier Snowmobile Limited) by Joseph-Armand Bombardier at Valcourt in the Eastern Townships, Quebec. BRP has a long legacy of innovation and has multiple brands: Ski-Doo (snowmobiles), Can-Am motorcycles (ATVs and Can-Am Spyder and Ryker three-wheeled vehicles), Sea-Doo (personal watercraft), Lynx (snowmobile), Evinrude Outboard Motors, and Rotax. 

    Prior to his, he was the Director, Regional Sales Operations at Harley-Davidson. He was responsible for demand and supply planning; as well fulfillment for Harley-Davidson’s sales and distribution channels in the region. Before joining Harley-Davidson, Jin Kiat was the Operations Director at Reader’s Digest Asia, where he was responsible for Reader’s Digest B2B and B2C operations. Prior to that, he was Asia Pacific Director, Global Automotive Solutions at Menlo Worldwide, a global supply chain management company.

    During his tenure at Menlo Worldwide, Jin Kiat was also a pioneer of Vector SCM, a global supply chain 4PL joint-venture between General Motors and CNF, Inc., Menlo Worldwide’s parent company. Jin Kiat’s supply chain and operations experience spans both B2B and B2C sectors in industrial and commercial environments, and has successfully developed customer-centric supply chain solutions for large multi-national corporations. Jin Kiat graduated from Nanyang Business School in Singapore with a Bachelor of Business (Marketing); and has an MBA from Manchester Business School in the UK. He is also a certified trainer with the Advanced Certificate in Training and Assessment (ACTA) qualifications awarded by the Workforce Development Agency (WDA) of Singapore.

    Sebastian Chua has accumulated 20 over years of procurement experience within the Indirect Procurement & Project Sourcing domains and held several regional and country positions in Asia Pacific.

    Sebastian started his procurement career with Hewlett Packard/Agilent Technologies as their Country Manager for India, Singapore, Thailand & Philippines before he took on the portfolio as the Regional Procurement Manager. Sebastian then moved on to join Microsoft & Alcatel Lucent as Head of Procurement to transform their procurement organisation in Asia Pacific region.

    At Microsoft, he was recognised for providing leadership in the category sourcing strategies & operational excellence in Asia that contributed to organisational indirect spend reduction, process efficiencies and supply base rationalisation as well as launching a pioneer transformation initiative for outsourcing the operational finance & tactical procurement functions around Accounts Payable, Records, Payroll and Procurement transactional services.

    At Alcatel-Lucent as their Senior Procurement Director for Asia region, Sebastian was recognised for providing innovative business solutions and achieving break-through strategies across a series of procurement transformation initiatives in the areas of People & Organisation, Business Alignment & Supplier Partnership, Program & Process Excellence and Controls & Compliance.

    In Sep 2013, Sebastian Chua took on a new challenge to accept the opportunity to transform the public procurement practices at Health Promotion Board (HPB), a statutory board under the Ministry of Health. He reports to CEO, HPB in his current role as Head of Procurement. His Procurement Paper "Transformative THINKING. Transformative DOING" was published at The Journal of Public Procurement (USA), APAC CIO Outlook and Supply Chain Asia. In recognition of his procurement leadership, Sebastian was nominated for numerous awards at the World Procurement Congress (UK), ProcureCon EPIC Awards (USA), CPO Award by The Faculty (Australia), Procurement Leaders APAC Forum, etc. In 2017, Sebastian was conferred the Supply Chain Professional of the Year by The Supply Chain Asia as well as the Asia Supply Management Awards by the CIPS.

    Sebastian is an industry speaker for the MBAs at the NUS Business School, The Logistics Institute – Asia Pacific, Nanyang Business School and Singapore Management University.   • Tiow Wei Yeong

    Tiow is currently the Head of Procurement for the JCAP region, accountable for all indirect sourcing teams strategies and operations across Japan, China and Asia Pacific cluster markets. 

    Before joining MSD, Tiow was the global procurement director for Diageo, based out of Singapore and led end to end procurement (supply/direct materials, marketing/commercial and indirects/overheads categories) for the teams across Asia Pacific.  Tiow also led the best cost country sourcing agenda (BCCS) for Diageo globally and was instrumental in the implementation of the solution for Diageo.

     He built his career in Diageo through a succession of procurement roles, heading up procurement teams across SEA markets and was also the pioneering member of marketing procurement for the region.  Prior to Diageo, Tiow led the regional packaging and ingredients category for Philip Morris across Asia Pac manufacturing affiliates.

    Tiow is a trained engineer with a Bachelor’s degree in electrical power engineering and a certified ISO 9001:2000 lead auditor.  Tiow is also a current committee member of Supply Chain Asia’s Procurement Council aimed at progressing the function across industries.

  • Law Chung Ming
    Director, Transport & Logistics, Enterprise Singapore (ESG)
    Law Chung Ming
    Director, Transport & Logistics, Enterprise Singapore (ESG)

    In his current portfolio, Chung Ming is responsible for facilitating companies in the Aviation, Maritime and Land Transport Sectors in Singapore and their ventures overseas. This encompasses co-ordination with ESG’s global centres to develop trade and investment linkages between Singapore and global markets, providing in-market facilitation, market insights, intelligence, business & government connections, and consultancy advice for market entry and expansion into various regions.

    Chung Ming has been the Group Director for the China Group between May 2011 and November 2015. As Group Director of China Group,Chung Ming oversees the agency’s operations in China where it has nine overseas centres. Chung Ming is also responsible for developing and implementing strategies and policies to assist the expansion of Singapore-based companies into China.

    Mr Lee Eng Keat oversees EDB’s various industry clusters including Logistics, Agrifood, Utilities, Supply Chain and Logistics.

    Prior to this, Mr Lee was responsible for EDB’s engagement of companies in the Middle East, South Asia, South East Asia and Oceania as International Director (Asia Pacific).

    In his previous appointment as Regional Director (India), Mr Lee has been actively working with Indian companies since 2007 and was instrumental in growing India’s presence in Singapore.

    Mr Lee concurrently headed the Communications department at the EDB in 2008. Between 2005 and 2007, Mr Lee was seconded to the Singapore Tourism Board (STB) as Assistant Director in the Sector Planning Division. Mr Lee joined the EDB as a Senior Officer for the Infocomms and Media cluster in 1999.

    Mr Peter Woon  is a senior Management Executive with proven track record in Greenfield startup experience. Having started up Supply Chain Solutions and Fulfilment centres in Singapore, Malaysia and China with Modus Media International. He was also part of the pioneer leadership to open the Marina Bay Sands Integrated Resort. Peter is an active practitioner of Supply Chain Management, Spend Management, Global Sourcing, Strategic Procurement, and Supplier Relationship Management. Project Management. Strategic Management for High Tech as well as Service Industries. 

    Peter is currently the Managing Director of Koru Greentech, which is a Singapore Based enterprise to promote Private Public Partnership focussing on improving the value chain of Food chains leveraging Innovative Technology. EcoHub Global is actively engaged in various Global and regional NPO / Govt initiatives on the Futures of Aquacultures and Food Security and have actively contribute as thought leaders in various regional Sustainable Seafood initiatives like ASEAN Aquaculture Industry Summit 2015, Aquaculture Futures Indonesia 2015,  International Coastal Tuna Business Forum and USAID Sustainable Seafood Industry Innovative Technology Solutions for Asia.
     
    Previously, he was the Vice President, Procurement and Supply Chain for the Marina Bay Sands Pte Ltd and have served in various diverse international leadership roles in Global Procurement / Sourcing and Supply Chain in the High Technology and Services industry. His previous professional experiences include being the Head of Global Procurement for Soitec Group of companies, Global Sourcing Director for Agilent Technologies and General Manager for Modus Media International in South China and Singapore.
  • Lin Chee Kin

    Chee Kin is currently the Vice President of Procurement for Singapore Post.

    His last engagement in the Deutsche Post DHL (DPDHL) group saw him in leading positions, firstly to establish the Regional Procurement network in Asia Pacific, followed by his last role as VP, Global Head of Procurement Organisation, Standards & Tools.

    In his regional role, Chee Kin established the operational plans for implementing the newly created Corporate Procurement function in Asia Pacific. He went on to implement the plans by recruiting and organising resources to fill the key positions in the countries and regional office, and introduced new Procurement processes and standards to support the rapidly growing business in Asia Pacific.

    From a regional role, Chee Kin went on to take up a global position to develop, implement and manage the standardised toolsets of DPDHL Procurement. This covered the policies, processes, organisation standards and IT platforms of ePurchasing, eSourcing, Business Intelligence, Spend Analytics and supplier management. His other responsibilities included the initiation and management of strategic programs such as the Group-wide initiative of “Purchasing Compliance”, the transformation of Operational Buying into service centres, and the coordinated approach of skills development for Procurement professionals.

    Prior and after DPDHL, Chee Kin spent almost 12 years in consulting to local companies on management topics, mostly on operations management and strategic business planning.

    Senior Vice President Contract Logistics, Asia Pacific, Kuehne + Nagel

    Mark Parlane is responsible for Contract Logistics across Asia Pacific. Mark is based in Singapore.

    Kuehne + Nagel is a global transport and logistics company based in Schindellegi, Switzerland. It was founded in 1890, in Bremen, Germany, by August Kühne and Friedrich Nagel. It provides sea freight and airfreight forwarding, contract logistics, and overland businesses.

    Prior to joining Kuehne + Nagel Mark was with regional supply chain solutions providers Linfox, and before then with Exel and Tibbett & Britten (now taken over by DHL) in a career that has seen him based in the UK, Hong Kong, Shanghai, New York, and now Singapore.

    Mark has spent over 25 years in the logistics industry and holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Administration degree from Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand.

    Mark is married with 1 child.
